The Streetfold Research Desk is the organizational byline used on jequirity.com. E-lyn Thams is its named responsible editor and holds final responsibility for source review, editorial approval, updates and corrections.
Responsible editor duties
- Define a distinct purpose and route logic for each guide.
- Prefer airports, transport operators, tourism authorities and venue websites as factual sources.
- Date checks for fares, timetables, reservations, closures and accessibility facilities.
- Label editorial recommendations as synthesis rather than official guidance.
- Separate source-checked research, attributed third-party records and documented field checks.
- Review correction reports and record material updates.
Review ownership
From 26 August 2026, E-lyn Thams holds final responsibility for new publication, material updates and correction decisions. Existing articles claim a separate individual review only when they show a dated review record. That responsibility covers the cited source, the wording supported by it, the boundary between fact and editorial judgment, the visible review date and the image record.
Research, drafting and review may be completed within the same editorial desk. Any separate contributor or reviewer will be named with the scope of that contribution.
The responsible editor also reviews how evidence is described. Issue 01's third-party photographs, videos and travelogues remain attributed external records: they can inform an editorial decision but do not establish that the Research Desk or responsible editor completed a journey.
How authorship is represented
“Streetfold Research Desk” is the stable organizational byline for the independently operated publication. It is not presented as a natural person, registered company or claim of professional accreditation. The separate named editor record identifies the person accountable for the desk's final editorial decisions.
Streetfold is independently operated from China. The operator publishes through this organizational byline and retains responsibility for the site. E-lyn Thams holds the named editorial responsibility described above.
Editorial questions, source challenges and correction reports can be sent to the domain mailbox editorial@jequirity.com.
Visual authorship
The first issue uses real photographs licensed for reuse from Wikimedia Commons. Streetfold records the photographer, source page, license and any crop or format change in its image ledger. A licensed photograph establishes visual context; it does not prove a personal visit or current transport, access, weather or crowd conditions.
Evidence boundary
Each article's research record separates named source inputs, Streetfold's route synthesis, attributed external records and the live fact a reader still needs to verify. A future documented field check remains a separate, stricter model requiring a named contributor, route, date, scope and evidence review.
Corrections
Every guide links to the public correction policy. Reports should identify the page, disputed statement and current official source. Material corrections update both the article date and the public correction record.
