Streetfold released all 24 Issue 01 guides together on 7 August 2026: six each for Copenhagen, Kyoto, Lisbon and Porto. Those dates have not been backfilled or staggered. On 24 August, every guide received substantive editorial work and retained a separate, article-level change summary.
What changed on 24 August
- Every guide now cites at least two links from its own source ledger in the article body.
- Every guide includes at least one contextual link to a related Streetfold decision guide.
- Five guides received expanded decision examples, route constraints or fallback planning.
- Nine subject-matched licensed photographs were added; the 24 guides now use 24 distinct hero images.
- The issue contains 95 source records across 80 distinct source URLs.
The shared 24 August modified date records this real issue-wide editing round. It is not intended to imply that the original articles were published on different days.
What changed on 25 August
Eight flagship decision guides received a reproducible remote route verification. Each section fixes a concrete traveler input, follows current official rules, records the resulting choice, and names the failure conditions and travel-day facts that remain unresolved. These are dated source audits, not reconstructed travel diaries or public field logs.
The remote audits were completed on 25 August. After the external-record review on 26 August, the eight affected guides moved to a 26 August modified date. The separate third-party journey-record review and evidence-boundary clarification on 27 August later moved those same guides to 27 August; the other sixteen guides retain their 24 August modified date.
What changed on 26 August
The same eight flagship guides added 16 independently published on-location records: two per guide, selected to cover the principal decision branches or route nodes. Every record links its source record page and publishes the credited creator, record date, review date, evidence scope, limitation and source-listed license.
These records are deliberately separated from the primary-source ledger. They add dated observations of physical places and individual disruptions, but they do not replace current operator information or create an author, contributor, reviewer or field-check relationship with Streetfold.
The external records do not create a Streetfold experience claim. Their credited creators are not Streetfold authors, reviewers, contributors or field checkers, and historical observations remain separate from current operator facts.
What changed on 27 August
The eight flagship guides added 8 journey-record entries drawn from 7 public source pages by 5 credited creators. Each entry identifies the public creator and source, preserves the available date label, lists the route nodes and reported observations, and states any missing duration, journey date or evidence detail.
These records are third-party context, not Streetfold field evidence. Their creators are not Streetfold authors, contributors, reviewers or field checkers. None of the records shows that E-lyn Thams or another Streetfold editor completed the journey, and no such claim is added to Article structured data.
The same revision removed the earlier publication-level route-experience statement and its page-specific scopes. The eight guides are now described consistently as source-checked decision guides informed by attributed third-party records; Issue 01 makes no Streetfold field-test claim.
Evidence boundary
All 24 Issue 01 guides are source-checked editorial research. Eight add reproducible remote route audits and attributed third-party journey records; the records document only each creator's stated scene, route or observation. None proves or constitutes Streetfold route testing. Any future field check will require a named contributor, journey date, route scope and evidence review.

A later modified date will be used only after a material source, decision, route, evidence or correction change. Grammar and layout-only work does not reset an article's editorial review date. Any future named field-check credit will still require a real contributor, documented scope, evidence review and permission to publish that credit.
